Alabama Regional Medical Services (ARMS) is seeking an experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to provide primary pediatric care for patients from newborns to young adults. The role focuses on well-childcare, growth and development assessment, and management of common pediatric illnesses and conditions in an underserved community setting.

Responsibilities

  • Assess growth patterns and evaluate developmental milestones
  • Educate parents about normal growth and development
  • Elicit comprehensive health histories
  • Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests
  • Diagnose and treat common acute illnesses
  • Prescribe medications and order immunizations
  • Perform physical examinations, including school and sports physicals
