A mid-sized hospital in southern Indiana is seeking multiple locum physicians to provide coverage across various specialties, including General, GYN, OB, Urology, Orthopedics, Thoracic, and Vascular. The role involves working within a care team model with a supervision ratio of 1:4, with flexible scheduling options. The position offers credentialing support, malpractice insurance, and weekly direct deposit.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care in designated specialties including General, GYN, OB, Urology, Orthopedics, Thoracic, and Vascular.
• Work within a care team model with a supervision ratio of 1:4.
• Maintain scheduled hours Monday through Friday, with options for 5x8 or 4x10 shifts.
• Complete credentialing process, approximately 30 days, with support from the employer.
• Adhere to hospital policies and standards of care.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
• Document patient encounters accurately and timely.
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement activities as required.

Compensation

• Compensation model: Other (1099 contractor).
• Malpractice insurance provided at no cost.
