Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, WI, is seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) or Certified Anesthesia Assistant (CAA) to join a community-oriented anesthesia team. The role offers autonomy within a physician-led team, providing anesthesia services across a wide range of case types and patient populations, from neonates to geriatrics. Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for diverse case types including general, ENT, orthopedic, neuro, cardiovascular, obstetric, outpatient, and limited cardiac cases.
• Care for patients across all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics.
• Participate in a team-based anesthesia practice with physician oversight and autonomy.
• Manage anesthesia during both in-house and remote call shifts, including weekends and weekdays.
• Maintain documentation and compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with surgical and medical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Participate in quality improvement and continuing education activities.
• Contribute to a regional healthcare network serving multiple counties.

Compensation

• Base salary with additional incentives, including a productivity bonus.

Shift & Schedule

Requirements

• Current certification as a CRNA or CAA.
• Ability to provide anesthesia care across a variety of case types and patient ages.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to participate in call rotations, including weekends and weekdays.
• Experience in a hospital or surgical setting preferred.
• Licensure and credentials in good standing for practice in Wisconsin.
