We are seeking a dedicated Staff Certified Anesthesia Assistant (CAA) to join our anesthesia care team. This full-time role offers a balanced schedule with a mix of 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts, supporting work-life balance. Call responsibilities are fully covered within scheduled shifts, and the position includes a generous sign-on bonus. The practice is located in a welcoming Texas community near Austin, known for its affordability, outdoor recreation, and family-friendly environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist anesthesiologists in providing anesthesia care to patients.
- Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies.
- Monitor patient vital signs and anesthesia levels during procedures.
- Support preoperative and postoperative patient care.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and infection control standards.
- Document patient care activities accurately in medical records.
- Collaborate with the anesthesia team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in scheduled shifts with no on-call responsibilities outside of scheduled hours.
Compensation
- Salary-based compensation with a W-2 tax status.
- Sign-on bonus of $75,000 for qualified candidates.

Requirements
- Certification as a Certified Anesthesia Assistant (CAA).
- Previous experience in anesthesia support or a related clinical setting preferred.
- Strong understanding of anesthesia procedures and patient monitoring.

- Ability to work flexible shifts including 8, 10, and 12 hours.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care standards.

- Current BLS certification or ability to obtain prior to employment.
