MiSalud Health is seeking a bilingual (English and Spanish) Nurse Practitioner for a remote, hourly contract role. The NP will provide culturally competent virtual care to diverse patient populations, primarily in the mornings and evenings, focusing on health equity and accessible healthcare delivery. The role involves collaboration with healthcare teams, patient engagement, and maintaining high patient satisfaction standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide virtual clinical assessments and care via phone, video, or chat in both English and Spanish, including diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Collaborate with Latin American healthcare providers and mental health teams within an integrated care model.
• Communicate proactively with the patient engagement team to ensure appointment attendance and patient needs are addressed.
• Maintain patient satisfaction ratings of 95% or higher through compassionate and high-quality care.
• Adapt to evolving technology, protocols, and training in a fast-growing digital health environment.
• Deliver culturally sensitive care, addressing social determinants of health such as housing and food security when appropriate.
• Participate in continuous training on topics like lifestyle medicine, mental health, and new healthcare trends.
• Contribute to the development and measurement of clinical programs aimed at improving health outcomes.

Requirements

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure with board certification in California and at least two additional states from the following list: TX, FL, AZ, OH, IL, OR, NY, WA, TN, NJ, KY, MD, CO, RI.
• 103 NP designation under California AB 890, allowing full independent practice without physician supervision.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Proficiency in Spanish at B2 level or higher for bilingual consultations.
• Experience with telehealth platforms and digital health tools for remote patient care.
• Background in public health or addressing population health disparities.
• Proactive, communicative, and problem-solving team player with a flexible, adaptable attitude.
• Empathy and ability to build trust with patients facing social and economic challenges.
• Experience in creating clinical programs and evaluating health outcomes (preferred).
