Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group's Department of Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgery is seeking a Physician Assistant to assist with cardiac surgical procedures, including adult and pediatric cases. The role involves assisting in surgeries, wound management, and other perioperative duties, with a focus on vascular harvesting techniques.   • Assist in all cardiac surgical procedures for adult and pediatric patients, including first or second assistant roles.

  • Contribute to intraoperative procedures such as harvesting saphenous vein grafts, radial arteries, and endoscopic vein harvesting.
  • Ensure compliance with departmental protocols and safety standards.

Compensation

  • Starting base salary ranges from $150,000 to $240,000, adjusted based on experience and faculty rank.
  • Compensation does not include variable pay or productivity bonuses.
  • Additional income opportunities include loan repayment and relocation support.
  • Compensation is provided via W-2 employment.

  • Strong suturing and wound management skills.
