This position involves providing anesthesia services at a Level 4 Trauma Center, performing a variety of surgical procedures including general, obstetrical, nerve blocks, and regional anesthesia. The role requires credentialing and is scheduled Monday through Friday with call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform anesthesia for general surgical cases, obstetrical procedures, and nerve blocks.
• Administer regional, spinal, epidural, and obstetrical anesthesia as required.
• Maintain patient safety and monitor anesthesia levels throughout procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and anesthesia standards.
• Participate in on-call duties as scheduled.
• Complete credentialing process, estimated to take over 30 days.
• Document all procedures and patient interactions accurately.

Compensation

• Compensation model categorized as 'Other' with a 1099 tax status.

Shift & Schedule

• Monday through Friday schedule.
• Work hours start at 8 or 10-hour shifts, with call responsibilities required.

Requirements

• Experience with Level 4 Trauma Center procedures.
• Proficiency in general surgical anesthesia, nerve blocks, and regional anesthesia techniques.
• Ability to perform spinal and epidural anesthesia.
• Current medical license and board certification in anesthesiology.
• Credentialing eligibility within 30+ days.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday with call responsibilities.
• Experience in obstetrical anesthesia preferred.
• Knowledge of hospital protocols and safety standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced trauma environment.
