BayCare Medical Group is seeking a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) to join the anesthesiology team at St. Joseph’s Hospital-South in Riverview, Florida. The role involves providing anesthesia support across a variety of surgical cases in a modern, well-equipped facility within a growing community. Responsibilities

• Assist anesthesiologists in administering anesthesia for a range of surgical procedures including general, orthopedic, and endoscopic cases.
• Monitor patient vital signs and anesthesia levels throughout procedures.
• Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies.
• Participate in preoperative assessments and postoperative care as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and hospital policies.
• Collaborate with the care team to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia records.
• Adhere to NCCAA certification and licensing requirements.

Requirements

• Master’s degree from an accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant program.
• NCCAA certification required.
• Active Florida license or ability to obtain licensure.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
