This is a contract position for an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant specializing in adult inpatient care within an advanced heart failure team. The role involves managing approximately 20 patient encounters per shift over four 10-hour days per week, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays. No call coverage is required, and the position offers comprehensive support and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Provide adult inpatient care within an advanced heart failure team setting
• Manage approximately 20 patient encounters per shift
• Work four days per week, with 10-hour shifts including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
• Participate in care related to LVAD and transplant patients (experience preferred)
• Deliver 100% inpatient adult care
• Coordinate with the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
• Follow established protocols for heart failure management
• Ensure documentation and compliance with hospital policies

Compensation

• Hourly rate from $80.00 to $100.00, based on experience and qualifications
• Additional compensation options include relocation support and sign-on bonus

Requirements

• Current license to practice as an APRN or PA in Wisconsin
• Experience in adult inpatient care, preferably with LVAD and transplant patients
• Ability to work 10-hour shifts over four days, including weekends and holidays
• Excellent clinical and communication skills
• Ability to work independently within a team setting
• No call coverage required
