The Certified Nurse Midwife will provide full-scope obstetric and gynecologic care within a collaborative multispecialty group in Walnut Creek, CA. The role offers autonomy in clinical practice, including new consults, follow-ups, problem visits, in-office procedures, and deliveries at John Muir Medical Center Walnut Creek. The position emphasizes work-life balance with a part-time clinic schedule and limited delivery call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope obstetric and gynecologic care, including new consults, follow-ups, and problem visits.
• Perform in-office procedures and manage deliveries at John Muir Medical Center Walnut Creek.
• Maintain autonomy in clinical decision-making within the scope of practice.
• Collaborate with a team of physicians, nurse midwives, nurse practitioners, and support staff.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with patients, demonstrating excellent bedside manner.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Participate in scheduled clinic days and delivery call duties, with a maximum of 6 days of call per month.
• Contribute to a collegial team environment focused on operational efficiency.

Compensation

• Annual salary range of USD 135,000 to USD 190,000, based on experience and qualifications.
• Salary is paid as a W-2 wage.
• Compensation is exclusive of bonuses or additional benefits.

Requirements

• California state licensure as a Nurse Midwife.
• Board certification as a Certified Nurse Midwife.
