A hospital-based CRNA position available for an initial 3-6 month assignment with the possibility of extension. The role involves providing anesthesia services across various specialties, including General, Orthopedic, Urology, Gynecology, and Gastroenterology, with optional involvement in Neuro and Spinal cases. The schedule consists of 10-12 hour shifts, primarily Monday through Saturday, with no call responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia for a variety of surgical procedures including General, Orthopedic, Urology, Gynecology, and Gastroenterology cases.
- Manage a caseload of approximately 3-8 cases per day, depending on room assignment.
- Work independently with supervision by an MD in a 1:3 provider-to-support staff model.
- Utilize EPIC electronic medical records for documentation.
- Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards during anesthesia delivery.
- Maintain flexibility to accommodate variable schedules and case types.
- Participate in scheduled shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
- No call duties are required as part of this role.
Compensation
- W-2 employment status with compensation details categorized as 'Other'.
Shift & Schedule
- Variable schedule with 10-12 hour shifts, primarily Monday through Saturday.
- Shift hours typically from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
- No call responsibilities required.
- Approximately 40 hours per week, with flexibility around Saturday shifts if needed.
Requirements
- Certified CRNA credential required.
- Current certification and licensure to practice as a CRNA.
- Experience with a variety of anesthesia cases, including general and orthopedic procedures.
- Ability to work independently in a hospital setting.
- Flexibility to work variable schedules, including longer shifts.
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR system.
- Availability to start ASAP and commit to 3-6 months with potential extension.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Credentialing completion within approximately 12 weeks of application submission.
