The Part-Time Nurse Practitioner Educator is responsible for preparing and delivering live and online Nurse Practitioner certification review courses, supporting APRN programs with integration of solutions, and providing content expertise. This remote role involves presenting two to four review courses annually, with travel required for in-person events, and utilizing adult learning principles to engage students preparing for certification exams.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver engaging live and online Nurse Practitioner certification review courses using adult pedagogy.
- Utilize technology to provide effective instruction supporting NP exam preparation.
- Support APRN programs by integrating APEA solutions and providing content development as a subject matter expert.
- Understand and communicate the features of APEA products and solutions to assist customers.
- Implement consistent processes to ensure high-quality review delivery.
- Travel to present in-person review courses two to four times per year.
- Use data and feedback to improve presentation effectiveness and content relevance.
- Guide students in identifying learning needs and exercising critical-thinking skills.

Requirements
- Master's degree or higher in Nursing.
- Current, unrestricted Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience teaching or presenting at conferences; 5+ years preferred.
- Knowledge of Nurse Practitioner Certification Exam Blueprint.
- Experience as a family, psychiatric mental health, or adult geriatric acute care nurse practitioner preferred.
- Ability to maintain NP certification exam expertise.
- Strong presentation skills with an engaging style and professionalism.
- Technological proficiency with various applications and remote teaching tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel for in-person review courses.
