This position serves as the first point of contact for the department, handling front desk duties, administrative tasks, and supporting the health plan operations in compliance with HIPAA policies. The role involves greeting visitors, managing scheduling, maintaining office records, and providing backup support to staff.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct prospective students and visitors; route telephone calls; schedule appointments.
• Coordinate daily front desk activities, including maintaining key inventory, database management, and data entry.
• Perform word processing tasks such as drafting correspondence, forms, tables, labels, flyers, and posters.
• Track and file office documents, purchase orders, and invoices.
• Provide backup coverage for other office staff as needed.
• Assist with day-to-day activities involving protected health information in compliance with HIPAA, including handling employee claims, benefits coordination, eligibility verification, billing, and collections.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Compensation

• Hourly wage of $15.00 per hour.
• W-2 employment tax status.
