A locum tenens physician opportunity in Worcester, MA, offering flexible scheduling with 12 to 24-hour shifts. The role involves providing coverage across multiple facilities with a variety of general and specialized surgical cases. The position includes travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance coverage, with a referral bonus incentive available.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical coverage for general, OB, minimally invasive, bariatric, orthopedic (trauma, spine, joint replacement), thoracic, vascular, neurosurgical, ENT, hepatobiliary, urology, IVF, and GYN cases.
• Work across up to five facilities, cross-credentialing as needed.
• Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient management.
• Participate in a care team model to coordinate patient care.
• Cover scheduled shifts Monday through Friday, with 12, 16, 18, or 24-hour shifts.
• Maintain credentialing requirements within approximately 60 days.
• Travel and lodging are provided for the assignment.
• Malpractice insurance is included.

Compensation

• Referral bonus of $3,500 (details available upon request).

Requirements

• Medical license in the state of Massachusetts or ability to obtain one.
• Board certification or eligibility in relevant specialties.

• Strong clinical skills across multiple surgical disciplines.
• Credentialing readiness within 60 days.
