AdventHealth Medical Group in Palm Coast, FL, is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) specializing in adult reconstruction and total joint replacement within the Orthopedic Surgery team. The role involves pre- and post-operative management, assisting in surgeries, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive musculoskeletal care in a hospital and outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-operative and post-operative management for orthopedic patients focusing on adult reconstruction and total joint replacement.
• Assist in the operating room, including first assist duties for orthopedic procedures.
• Conduct clinical evaluations, diagnostic testing, and develop treatment plans for musculoskeletal conditions.
• Collaborate with attending physicians, APPs, and team members to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Participate in call coverage and share responsibility for inpatient and outpatient orthopedic care across Palm Coast campuses.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with AdventHealth standards and protocols.
• Support the expansion of the orthopedic service line through community outreach and involvement in both surgical and non-surgical care.

Compensation

• Salary-based compensation (W-2 tax status).

Shift & Schedule

• Variable schedule days.
• Call coverage required with varying call types.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Nursing (NP) or Physician Assistant Studies.
• Current national certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA).
• Active or eligible Florida NP/PA license.
• 0-2 years of experience; new graduates are welcome.
• Training or experience in adult reconstruction; operating room experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to participate in call coverage and work variable schedules.
• Additional language skills are a plus.
