Envision Physician Services is seeking a full-time Anesthesiology Assistant at HCA Florida Palms West Hospital. The role offers a competitive salary up to $230,000, a $100,000 start date bonus, and additional incentives, with flexible scheduling options and comprehensive benefits. The position involves working within a diverse anesthesia care team across various surgical specialties.
Responsibilities
- Assist anesthesiologists in providing anesthesia care across multiple surgical specialties including general, orthopedics, neurosurgery, OB, robotics, IR, endoscopy, GI, vascular, and pediatrics.
- Perform procedures such as arterial lines, spinal blocks, and epidurals as part of anesthesia management.
- Participate in preoperative assessments and patient monitoring during procedures.
- Manage anesthesia equipment and ensure patient safety throughout surgical cases.
- Collaborate with physicians, CRNAs, and other healthcare team members to deliver high-quality anesthesia services.
- Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia care and patient records.
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and clinical standards.
- Support coverage for call shifts as scheduled, with options for different shift patterns.

Shift & Schedule
- Flexible scheduling options, including three 13-hour shifts with call 2-4 times per month or a 24-hour shift with a 16-hour shift with no call.
- Variable shift timing and days, with some shifts requiring call coverage.
- Approximately 9,700 cases annually in 2024.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Certified Anesthesiology Assistant (CAA).
- Previous experience in anesthesia care preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to perform arterial lines, SABs, and epidurals.
- Strong understanding of anesthesia procedures and patient safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
