The Osborn Family Health Center in Camden, NJ, is seeking a full-time Family Practice Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive primary care services. The provider will assess, diagnose, prescribe, and treat patients independently within the scope of practice, collaborating with physicians and the healthcare team. The role includes telehealth services and participation in a rotating on-call schedule, serving a diverse community in a Federally Qualified Health Center setting.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, prescribe medications, and treat patients according to established protocols.
  • Provide triage, referral coordination, and develop individualized care plans.
  • Educate patients on health conditions and treatment options.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with providers and staff.
  • Provide telehealth services to patients.
  • Maintain current knowledge through professional development activities, conferences, and webinars.
  • Work within the scope of practice as defined by state law and practice policies.

Compensation

  • Salary-based compensation.
  • Eligible for up to $50,000 in federal loan repayment through the Federal Loan Repayment Program.
  • Reimbursement for professional development CME activities.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Nursing.
  • National Certification by ANCC.
  • Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse and Certified Nurse Practitioner in New Jersey.
  • Experience working in a Family Practice environment.
  • Current CDS, DEA, CPR, and Basic Life Support certifications.
  • Credentialed with insurance providers (current or prior).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multi-specialty setting.
  • Excellent communication and patient education skills.
  • Comfort with providing telehealth services.
