A primary care Physician Assistant position located in Chincoteague Island, Virginia, offering a Monday through Friday schedule with extended hours on Wednesdays. Responsibilities
- Provide primary care services to pediatric to geriatric patients in an outpatient setting.
- Work Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with extended hours until 8 pm on Wednesdays.
- Maintain a schedule of 40 guaranteed hours per week.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver patient-centered care.
- Manage patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans within scope of practice.
- Utilize hospital privileges to perform necessary procedures and interventions.
- Document patient encounters accurately and timely in electronic health records.
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
Compensation
- Annual salary range from $135,000 to $150,000, based on experience and qualifications.
