The Mid-Level Provider (NP or PA) will assess and manage patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment, diagnosing and treating minor illnesses and stable chronic conditions. The role involves patient education, documentation, performing basic procedures, and collaborating with medical directors to meet patient healthcare needs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage minor illnesses and stable chronic conditions.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients' physical and psychosocial health status.
• Instruct, educate, and counsel patients on health status, test results, disease processes, and care plans.
• Monitor the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions.
• Perform basic radiologic and laboratory procedures.
• Perform minor surgical procedures as needed.
• Complete timely documentation and charting in accordance with clinic policies.
• Assist patients with administrative tasks such as checking stamped cards and ensuring quality assurance documentation.

Requirements

• Advanced degree as Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience or equivalent.
• Current Idaho Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license.
• Federal DEA and Idaho Controlled Substance License.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Knowledge of state laws, regulations, and scope of practice for mid-level providers.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and patient management skills.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a team environment.
