Provider Resources, LLC is seeking board-certified clinicians to serve as VA medical reviewers. This remote, part-time position involves conducting comprehensive case reviews to evaluate the quality and appropriateness of care provided to Veterans, supporting federal healthcare standards while allowing clinicians to maintain their current practice.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive medical record peer reviews to assess clinical outcomes in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Make clinical judgments based on experience and evidence-based research as a Subject Matter Expert in your specialty.
• Maintain compliance with evolving regulations affecting medical and utilization review practices.
• Document review findings accurately according to provided guidelines.
• Communicate review results to designated supervisors.
• Access and review electronic health records as authorized.
• Ensure timely completion of reviews, averaging at least 20 hours per month.
• Uphold confidentiality and security standards for patient information.

Requirements

• Current medical license in good standing.
• Board certification in relevant clinical specialty.

• Recent direct patient care within the last 3 years.
• Ability to perform thorough, objective case reviews remotely.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and documentation standards.
• Excellent clinical judgment and attention to detail.
