Community Health Alliance is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to provide gynecological, reproductive, postpartum, and peri-menopause care to patients across multiple locations in Reno and Sparks. The role involves delivering comprehensive women's health services, including prenatal and postnatal examinations, with a focus on community health and patient education.

Responsibilities

  • Provide gynecological and reproductive health services, including prenatal and postnatal care.

  • Offer emotional support and education to expectant and postpartum women.

Compensation

  • Salary range: USD 93,575 - 145,042 per year.
  • Additional income opportunities include loan repayment, CME allowance, and performance bonuses.
  • Loan repayment assistance available through the National Health Service Corps for eligible providers.

Shift & Schedule

  • Full-time position with a Monday through Friday schedule.

Requirements

  • Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) or Certified Midwife (CM) from the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB) or Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) from NARM.
  • Minimum of two years of practice experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with patients.
  • Ability to explain complex medical issues clearly and effectively.
  • Proficiency in medical record documentation and familiarity with women's health diagnostic equipment.
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, reproductive health, and pharmacology.
  • Ability to perform prenatal and postnatal examinations and provide emotional support.
  • Understanding of infection control procedures and standards of care.
  • Ability to diagnose and treat within scope of practice.
  • Physical ability to remain upright and assist with patient movement.
