The Orthopedic Clinic is seeking a Mid-Level Provider, such as a Physician Assistant or ARNP, to join our outpatient orthopedic team. The role involves providing medical treatment, assisting in surgeries, and managing walk-in patients across multiple locations in East Central Florida. The provider will work closely with a team of orthopedic surgeons, pain management physicians, and physical therapists to deliver high-quality, individualized orthopedic care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, record, and report patient condition changes in the EHR system
• Order and conduct diagnostic tests, laboratory work, and medical imaging
• Prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records regarding treatment, history, and care plans
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, and implement patient care
• Coordinate treatment and ongoing care with colleagues as needed
• Organize and prioritize work during high workload periods to ensure timely patient care
• Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations

Requirements

• Florida licensure as Physician Assistant or ARNP
• Two to five years of professional orthopedic clinical or surgical experience
• Previous experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is required
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR), preferably Athena
• Computer literacy in a Windows environment
• Valid Florida Driver's License with a clean driving record and proof of auto insurance
• Strong organizational skills, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and compassionate patient care skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
