A full-time, permanent position for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the emergency department of a hospital in Western New Hampshire. The provider will work 12-hour overnight shifts, with the ability to work autonomously supported by onsite physicians. The role requires at least one year of emergency department experience and preferably board certification and a New Hampshire license. The hospital is located in a family-friendly, scenic town with abundant recreational and cultural amenities.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care in the hospital's emergency department during overnight shifts.
• Work independently with support from onsite physicians.
• Manage a patient caseload in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and standards.
• Document patient encounters accurately and thoroughly.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver quality care.
• Maintain clinical competence and stay updated on emergency medicine practices.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives as needed.
