We are seeking an experienced licensed Physician Assistant to join our Dermatology team within a physician-led, patient-centric healthcare network. The role involves providing clinical services, developing patient care plans, and collaborating with physicians and care teams to deliver high-quality, connected care. The position emphasizes a team approach, patient education, and adherence to organizational policies and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical services and develop care plans in collaboration with physicians.
  • Obtain patient medical histories, perform physical examinations, and order diagnostic tests.
  • Interpret laboratory and test results to inform patient management.
  • Coordinate with physicians and care team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Refer patients to specialists or for additional testing as appropriate.
  • Document all patient interactions and care in the electronic medical record system.
  • Provide health education and counseling to patients and families.
  • Participate in quality improvement and risk management activities.

Compensation

  • $150,000 to $175,000 annual salary
  • Compensation includes a W-2 salary and CME allowance

Requirements

  • Master's degree and successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in New York and/or Connecticut.
  • Board certification as a Physician Assistant.
  • Minimum of 2 years clinical experience.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Knowledge of medical procedures, assessment, treatment, and recovery guidelines.
  • Ability to work effectively within a clinical team.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Patient-focused with a commitment to compassionate care.
