This is a locum/contract anesthesia provider role at a hospital, requiring a provider with an MPAS, MHS, MMSc, or MPH degree. The position involves performing various procedures and assisting with bedside interventions, with a schedule of 7 days on followed by 7 days off, from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Perform anesthesia procedures including placement of chest tubes, central lines, and arterial lines.
• Assist with bedside tracheostomy and PEG tube placements.
• Manage intraoperative care and monitor patients during procedures.
• Document patient care in the EPIC EMR system.
• Support the anesthesia team with perioperative tasks.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols.
• Collaborate with surgical and nursing staff during procedures.
• Maintain credentialing requirements, with a 30-day credentialing process.

Compensation

• $140 per hour (1099 tax status)
• Hourly compensation model
• Pay rate of $140/hour

Shift & Schedule

• 7 days on / 7 days off schedule
• 12-hour shifts from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Variable schedule days

Requirements

• Degree in MPAS, MHS, MMSc, or MPH.
• Ability to perform procedures such as chest tubes, central lines, and arterial lines.
• Experience with bedside tracheostomy and PEG tube placement preferred.
• Proficiency with EPIC and Dragon EMR systems.
• Current medical licensure and credentialing eligibility.
• Availability to work a 7 on / 7 off schedule, 12-hour shifts from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Excellent clinical skills and patient management abilities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to obtain hospital credentialing within 30 days.
