The Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with physicians to deliver comprehensive healthcare services, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of acutely and chronically ill patients within a hospital setting. The role involves developing and implementing patient care plans, interpreting diagnostic results, and ensuring quality care across the patient lifespan.

Responsibilities

• Assess and reassess patient care needs to develop and modify treatment plans, alerting the director to potential or actual issues.
• Establish and maintain communication channels with medical staff and hospital departments to promote coordinated care.
• Interpret laboratory and diagnostic findings accurately to inform patient management.
• Prescribe and evaluate medical and nursing therapies based on patient needs and responses.
• Apply advanced nursing principles, including physical assessment and pharmacology, in patient care.
• Provide age-appropriate care considering growth and development needs of patients across the lifespan.
• Assist in maintaining patient rights and operational standards within the hospital.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure continuous and comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited advanced practice registered nurse program.
• 3-5 years of related clinical experience.
• Current RN license.
• Valid NP or PA license.
