The Saban Community Clinic is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to provide comprehensive reproductive health services in an outpatient clinic setting. The role involves prenatal, gynecologic, and family planning care, including advanced procedures such as colposcopies, with a focus on patient-centered, culturally competent care for diverse and underserved populations. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive, patient-focused midwifery care including prenatal, postpartum, family planning, well-woman exams, preventive screenings, contraceptive counseling, and menopause management.
- Perform colposcopies and related procedures, interpret abnormal Pap results, and conduct cervical biopsies and endocervical curettage.
- Diagnose and manage common gynecologic and reproductive health conditions.
- Collaborate with supervising physicians on complex cases and coordinate referrals to specialty care.
- Educate patients on preventive care, reproductive health, and treatment options, promoting health equity.
- Work in an outpatient, clinic-based setting focused on preventive health and early intervention.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and multidisciplinary case conferences.
- Act as a resource and mentor to clinical staff on reproductive health best practices.
Compensation
- Hourly rate between $66.00 and $78.00, based on experience and qualifications.
- Offers additional income opportunities including loan repayment, CME allowance, and performance bonuses.
- Compensation is provided as a W-2 employment arrangement.

Shift & Schedule

Requirements
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Midwifery program.
- Current Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) certification from the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB).
- Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
- DEA registration and current BLS/ACLS certifications.
- Basic obstetrics and gynecology ultrasound skills.
- Colposcopy training and certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start).
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a CNM preferred; new graduates with strong colposcopy training are welcome.
- Experience providing care in ambulatory, community health, or FQHC settings preferred.
- Proficiency in performing colposcopies and interpreting results.
- Strong diagnostic, procedural, and patient communication skills.
