Adventist Health Mendocino Coast is seeking an experienced Oncology Advanced Practice Provider to join our hematology/oncology outpatient clinic in Fort Bragg, California. This full-time salaried position offers a Monday through Friday schedule, a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for incentives and bonuses. The provider will deliver outpatient oncology services, including clinic visits, INR monitoring, and infusions, working alongside a multidisciplinary team in a scenic coastal community.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient hematology and oncology clinical services, including patient evaluations, treatment planning, and follow-up care.
  • Administer chemotherapy infusions and manage infusion-related procedures in collaboration with Certified Chemotherapy Registered Nurses.
  • Perform INR testing and monitor anticoagulation therapy as part of patient management.
  • Coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care and safety.
  • Document clinical encounters accurately in the electronic health record system.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to clinical protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding treatment plans and progress.
  • Maintain current licensure and meet credentialing standards required by the hospital.

Compensation

  • $153,136 to $195,045 annual salary
  • Compensation includes incentives such as sign-on bonus, relocation support, and productivity bonus
  • W-2 employment tax status
  • Income guarantee with potential for additional earnings based on services and performance

  • Commitment to providing patient-centered care in a community setting.
  • Ability to meet hospital credentialing standards.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic clinical environment.
  • Experience with electronic health records preferred.
  • Must comply with vaccination requirements, including COVID-19 and seasonal flu vaccines.
