This position involves providing anesthetic and perioperative care at the University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora, CO, working with a team of nationally recognized physicians. The role offers flexible full-time or part-time schedules, including day, evening, and night shifts, with opportunities for teaching limited to students. Responsibilities

• Deliver anesthetic and perioperative care across a variety of surgical specialties.
• Participate in preoperative assessments and planning.
• Manage intraoperative anesthesia and monitor patient status.
• Provide post-anesthesia care and ensure patient recovery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia records.
• Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives.
• Contribute to teaching SRNA and SAA students as appropriate.

Compensation

• $220,000 - $250,000 base salary, commensurate with experience and market data.
• Sign-on bonus of $30,000, payable after 3 years.
• Relocation assistance of $10,000 for candidates moving from outside the Greater Denver area.
• Variable pay includes $300 per call shift and $175 per hour worked.
• W-2 employment with tax withholdings.

Requirements

• Board certification or eligibility in anesthesiology.
• Current medical license in Colorado or eligibility for licensure.
