Envision Physician Services is seeking a Pediatric Anesthesiologist Assistant (AA) for a full-time position at Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital in Hollywood, Florida. The role involves providing anesthesia care across a broad range of pediatric specialties at a Level I Trauma Center, with a focus on delivering high-quality perioperative services in a state-of-the-art facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist in anesthesia care for pediatric patients across various specialties, including Neurosurgery, General Surgery, ENT, Orthopedics, Plastics, Urology, Kidney Transplant, and Cardiac procedures.
• Collaborate with a team of 16 physicians and 16 advanced practice providers in a high-volume pediatric anesthesia department.
• Provide anesthesia support in a facility with 10,000 cases annually, utilizing new patient floors and operating rooms.
• Participate in preoperative assessments, intraoperative management, and postoperative care under supervision.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain high standards of patient care.
• Contribute to a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia procedures and patient records.
• Stay current with pediatric anesthesia practices and institutional policies.

Compensation

• $195,000 to $245,000 annual salary, with potential to earn more based on incentives.
• Sign-on bonus of $75,000.
• Additional income opportunities include CME allowance.
• Compensation structured as salary plus incentives, with a W-2 tax status.
