Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) or experienced Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) to join the hospitalist team at St. Joseph's Women's Hospital in Tampa, FL. The role involves collaborating on obstetric and gynecologic patient care, including triage, consults, rounds, and fetal monitoring, primarily during 12-hour day and night shifts. The position offers the opportunity to work in a high-volume delivery setting supported by a Level-IV NICU and a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians on OB triage, ER, OB, and GYN consults, patient rounds, and fetal monitoring.
• Participate in obstetric and gynecologic patient care activities during 12-hour shifts (day/night).
• Assist in managing labor and delivery processes, with deliveries handled by the physician team.
• Provide care for patients in a hospital setting with over 6,000 annual deliveries.
• Work as part of a team supported by a Level-IV NICU, neonatology, and anesthesia services.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with hospital protocols and standards.
• Engage in patient education and counseling related to women's health and pregnancy.
• Contribute to a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour shifts, including day and night rotations.

Requirements

• Current APRN national specialty certification as a CNM or WHNP.
• Minimum of a master's degree in nursing or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience as a WHNP or CNM.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including day and night rotations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of obstetric and gynecologic care protocols.
