TeamHealth is seeking a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) to join a multi-specialty anesthesiology practice in Paris, Texas. The role involves providing anesthesia services across various specialties, including obstetrics, orthopedics, neurology, trauma, gastrointestinal, ENT, and urology, under supervision in a team-based environment. The position offers opportunities to practice in a facility with multiple operating rooms and a diverse case mix, excluding cardiac cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care across multiple specialties including OB, orthopedics, neurology, trauma, GI, ENT, and urology.
• Cover obstetric cases, including placing labor epidurals.
• Supervise and collaborate with a team of physicians, CRNAs, and other anesthesia providers.
• Manage anesthesia procedures in up to four operating rooms and additional specialty areas.
• Ensure patient safety and deliver high-quality anesthesia services.
• Follow institutional protocols and standards for anesthesia practice.
• Participate in preoperative assessments and postoperative care as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia care provided.

Compensation

• $270,000 annual salary

Requirements

• Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) certification.
• Current state licensure or eligibility to practice in Texas.
