We are seeking Cardiac Anesthesiologists for locum coverage at a hospital in Michigan starting in September 2025. The role involves providing anesthesia services primarily for cardiac cases, with some general cases as needed, within a flexible schedule that includes weekday, weeknight, and weekend call responsibilities. Credentialing is streamlined to allow temporary privileges.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for cardiac surgical cases, with potential involvement in general cases as needed.
• Participate in a collaborative anesthesia team supported by surgical staff.
• Cover scheduled shifts on weekdays, with flexibility for weeknights and weekends.
• Respond to call requirements as part of the anesthesia coverage schedule.
• Maintain compliance with hospital credentialing and privileging processes.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to anesthesia protocols.
• Communicate effectively with surgical and support staff.
• Document anesthesia care accurately in patient records.

Requirements
