The Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) will provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care at Orem Community Hospital, including outpatient services, inpatient care, and attending births. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, supporting wellness and birth choices, with opportunities for low intervention options such as waterbirth and group prenatal care. Responsibilities

  • Provide gynecologic and obstetric care in clinic and hospital settings.
  • Attend and support patients during childbirth, including low intervention options like waterbirth.
  • Round with patients in the hospital and manage inpatient care, including admitting and discharging patients.
  • Support and participate in group prenatal care programs such as CenteringPregnancy.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
  • Support rotating after-hours, weekend, and holiday call duties.
  • Work at the top of licensure scope, including patient admission and discharge responsibilities.
  • Provide patient education and wellness counseling across the lifespan.

Compensation

  • Hourly pay rate between $56.76 and $87.59, dependent on experience.
  • W-2 employment status.

Shift & Schedule

Requirements

  • Current Utah state license as a Certified Nurse Midwife.
  • Certification as a Nurse Midwife.
  • Eligible for State Controlled Substance License II through V.
  • Eligible for Federal DEA Certificate II through V.
  • BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers.
  • Minimum of 2 years of full scope CNM experience.
  • Experience with water births and group prenatal care (preferred).
