This cardiothoracic and cardiovascular surgery locum tenens position involves weekend coverage with 24-hour shifts, including rounding and operating room responsibilities. The provider will perform open and endoscopic vein harvesting procedures, with post-operative visits required. Responsibilities

• Provide weekend coverage with 24-hour shifts in cardiothoracic and cardiovascular surgery.
• Perform approximately 150 cases per year, including open and endoscopic vein harvesting procedures.
• Conduct rounding and operating room coverage.
• Perform post-operative visits as required.
• Collaborate with a team of two full-time providers.
• Manage preoperative and postoperative patient care.
• Ensure compliance with ACLS certification requirements.
• Handle open and endoscopic vein harvesting procedures.

Compensation

• Hourly rate from $100.00 to $125.00, based on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

• ACLS certification is required.
