Medcor is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for a part-time occupational health role in the Quad Cities (Moline, Milan, Davenport). The position involves providing clinical care in an industrial setting, focusing on injury treatment, preventive services, and regulatory exams. The role offers a flexible, weekday schedule with no nights, weekends, or on-call duties, supporting work-life balance and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care for occupational injuries and illnesses following evidence-based standards.
• Collaborate with on-site medical staff and operational leadership to deliver comprehensive occupational health services.
• Manage patient documentation using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Support and promote workplace wellness and preventive health programs.
• Educate patients on medical conditions, treatment options, and healthy behaviors.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in regulatory and surveillance exams as required.
• Maintain professional licensure, certifications, and compliance with safety standards.

Requirements

• Valid, unrestricted Illinois and Iowa medical licenses (PA or NP).
• Current DEA registration and BLS certification.
• DOT certification (may be obtained within 6 months of hire).
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with EMR software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Comfortable working in an on-site clinic environment.
• Willingness to work approximately 20 hours per week with flexibility for additional hours.
