Physicians East, P.A. is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join our private obstetrics and gynecology practice in Greenville, NC. The CNM will provide comprehensive midwifery care, including prenatal, labor and delivery, postpartum, and gynecological services, working collaboratively with physicians and staff to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive prenatal visits, provide education and counseling to expectant mothers and families.
• Provide labor and delivery care, including attendance at vaginal births and support for natural and low-intervention births.
• Manage postpartum care, including lactation support and follow-up assessments.
• Perform routine gynecologic exams, family planning counseling, contraceptive management, and menopause care.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, lab work, and ultrasounds within scope of practice.
• Maintain thorough documentation in electronic medical records (EMR).
• Participate in rotating call coverage, including nights and weekends.
• Collaborate with OB-GYN physicians, nurses, and office staff to ensure seamless patient care.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Nurse-Midwifery from an accredited program.
• Current and unrestricted RN license.
• Certification by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB).
• Current BLS and NRP certification or ability to obtain.
• 1-2 years of midwifery experience preferred; new graduates considered based on fit.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in a private practice setting.
