A CRNA position at a small rural hospital in Mt. Vernon, Ohio, offering independent practice with supervision and support, for a 3-month assignment with potential extension. The role involves providing anesthesia services for various cases, including OB, pediatric ENT, and occasional other procedures, with a flexible schedule and call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for cases including B&B, OB (including epidurals), pediatric ENT, and occasional other procedures.
• Work independently with supervision and support available 24/7.
• Manage anesthesia during scheduled cases and on-call periods.
• Perform epidurals for OB cases.
• Participate in patient charting using Allscripts electronic medical record system.
• Adhere to facility protocols and safety standards.
• Cover beeper call shifts in the evenings on weekdays and 24-hour on weekends.
• Maintain professional standards in a small rural hospital setting.

Requirements

• Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
• Ability to perform epidurals and manage OB cases.
• Experience with pediatric ENT anesthesia preferred.

• Willingness to work variable hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to obtain credentialing at the facility within approximately 30 days.
