Premier Anesthesia is seeking experienced PRN Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join our team at Mount Carmel East in Columbus, Ohio. The role involves providing anesthesia care within a high-autonomy, team-based environment, supporting perioperative management across various surgical and obstetric procedures. Candidates must have at least two years of experience in Level I or Level II trauma settings and possess strong interpersonal skills to thrive in our service-oriented practice.

Responsibilities

  • Provide anesthesia care for a variety of surgical procedures, including obstetrical, regional, and peripheral nerve blocks.
  • Work collaboratively with anesthesiologists and other team members as clinical partners.
  • Manage perioperative patient care with a focus on safety and quality.
  • Perform anesthesia techniques such as spinals, epidurals, and nerve blocks, if experienced.
  • Operate with a high degree of autonomy within a professional environment.
  • Participate in a flexible schedule with variable days and call responsibilities.
  • Ensure excellent patient and customer service throughout perioperative care.
  • Maintain current licensure and credentialing requirements.

Compensation

  • Paid on a 1099 contract basis with competitive compensation.

Shift & Schedule

  • Variable schedule with days and call shifts negotiated individually.
  • First call and second call shifts with a day off after the first call.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level I or Level II trauma hospital setting.
  • Current certification as a CRNA.
  • Ability to perform a range of anesthesia techniques, including regional anesthesia and nerve blocks (experience preferred but not mandatory for all procedures).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to accommodate variable schedules and call shifts.
  • Experience in perioperative management, including obstetrical anesthesia.
  • Professionalism and commitment to high-quality patient care.
  • Credentialing and licensing in Ohio or ability to obtain licensure.
  • Comfort with working in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
