This position involves providing pediatric and adult anesthesia services under the supervision of a physician anesthesiologist. The role includes patient assessment, monitoring, and administering anesthesia for various procedures, with a focus on safety, documentation, and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and monitor the physiological and psychological needs of patients.
  • Administer anesthesia for general, regional, Monitored Anesthesia Care (MAC), and intravenous sedation procedures under supervision.
  • Place intravenous lines and ensure proper patient preparation.
  • Document all care and services provided accurately.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities and stay current with industry developments.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude with staff and patients.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including physicians, CRNAs, and other healthcare professionals.

Compensation

  • Salary plus incentives, including sign-on bonus, productivity bonus, and CME allowance.
  • Sign-on bonus of $10,000.
  • Additional income opportunities through incentive programs.
  • Tax status: W-2 employment.

  • 15% total employer retirement contribution (10% paid + 5% match).

Shift & Schedule

  • Variable days schedule.
  • No on-call responsibilities or overnight call.

Requirements

  • Certification by CCNA/NBCRNA or NCCAA as applicable.
  • Current ACLS certification.
  • PALS certification if applicable.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Self-directed with the ability to work independently.
  • Attention to detail and accurate documentation skills.
  • Ability to make independent, quality clinical decisions.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of current trends and developments in anesthesia practice.
