Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a Certified Anesthesiology Assistant (CAA) to join a well-established, collaborative anesthesia team at Franciscan Health Lafayette East. The role involves providing anesthesia care across a variety of case types, working under medical direction with no call or travel requirements, and contributing to patient-centered care in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist anesthesiologists in the administration of anesthesia during surgical and gastroenterology procedures.
• Provide patient care before, during, and after anesthesia.
• Educate patients about anesthesia, including potential contraindications and side effects.
• Collaborate with a team of anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and other healthcare providers.
• Participate in a physician-led anesthesia medical direction model.
• Contribute to a broad range of procedures including orthopedics, ENT, pediatrics, GYN, neuro, general surgery, urology, plastics, reconstructive, and vascular surgeries.
• Maintain high standards of clinical excellence and patient satisfaction.
• Develop strong professional relationships with patients and staff.

• Salary-based compensation (W-2 tax status).
