A locum Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (C-AA) is sought to provide anesthesia coverage at a large hospital in South Carolina, approximately 75 miles from Orangeburg. The role involves working scheduled shifts with no call, nights, weekends, or holidays, supporting various surgical cases under a medical director model.
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services for general, neuro, spine, orthopedic, and oncology surgeries, including ENT, GYN, and urology cases.
- Work scheduled shifts from 6:00 am to 7:30 pm, totaling 13.5 hours per shift.
- Operate under a medical director practice model, following established protocols.
- Maintain patient safety and anesthesia standards during procedures.
- Coordinate with surgical teams to ensure smooth perioperative care.
- Document anesthesia care and patient information accurately.
- Adhere to hospital policies and safety regulations.
- Participate in quality assurance and compliance activities as required.
