The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to provide inpatient hematology care. The role involves collaborating with physicians to manage acute and chronic hematologic conditions, including lymphoma, myeloma, leukemia, benign hematology, transplant, and cell therapy, across various inpatient services.   • Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers and community resources as appropriate.
  • Manage patients across multiple hematology service lines, demonstrating flexibility in inpatient settings.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient care discussions.
  • Maintain compliance with institutional policies, licensure, and certification standards.

Compensation

  • Salary compensation model (W-2 tax status).

Shift & Schedule

  • Monday through Friday, dayshift schedule.
  • 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.

Requirements

  • Current Ohio APRN license or PA-C certification with eligibility for Ohio licensure.
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or PA program recognized by relevant certifying bodies.
  • Master of Science in Nursing or equivalent for NPs; PA-C certification for Physician Assistants.
  • No minimum years of experience required; 3 years hematology APP experience preferred.
  • Inpatient APP experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of lymphoma, myeloma, leukemia, benign hematology, transplant, and cell therapy.
  • Ability to work flexibly across multiple inpatient hematology service lines.
  • Competence in managing acute and chronic hematologic conditions.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient-centered care.
