Path Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient behavioral health team. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating clients within a collaborative care environment, working alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality mental health services. The position offers a sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, with no weekend requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat individuals and families
• Provide client education and appropriate referrals
• Collaborate with the Medical Director and other healthcare providers in scheduled care conferences
• Order laboratory screenings and interpret results
• Review documentation of prior care and consult with previous providers
• Prescribe medications within scope of practice
• Maintain follow-up care with clients and families

Compensation

Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited university
• Board of Nursing licensure as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
• Active DEA license
• Minimum of 3 years nursing experience, including at least 1 year in behavioral health
• Knowledge of billing and coding guidelines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms
• Ability to work under stressful conditions and irregular hours
• Pass all federal and state background checks
• Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
