West Liberty University is seeking a Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) Principal Faculty member for a part-time (0.53 FTE, approximately 20 hours per week) clinical and didactic instructor role in its Physician Assistant program. The position involves teaching, curriculum development, student mentorship, and participation in program administration, with a focus on maintaining accreditation standards and fostering student success. Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality instruction to PA students in both clinical and didactic settings, including evaluation and remedial instruction as needed.
- Collaborate with program leadership to design, review, and enhance the curriculum, integrating current medical knowledge and educational best practices.
- Engage in professional activities such as clinical practice, research, publications, and presentations; support student scholarly pursuits.
- Serve as an academic advisor and mentor to PA students, providing guidance on academic progress and career development.
- Participate in program administration, including committee work, policy review, admissions, and accreditation activities.
- Pursue ongoing professional development through conferences, workshops, and training relevant to PA education and clinical practice.
- Represent the program at professional meetings and foster relationships with clinical partners and healthcare organizations.
- Contribute to university and community activities, including committee participation and outreach.
Compensation
- Salary-based compensation model (W-2 tax status).

Requirements
- Master's degree from an accredited PA program.
- Current NCCPA certification.
- Licensed or eligible to work as a Physician Assistant in the United States.
