The Orchard Hospital Medical Specialty Center is seeking a Physician Assistant to provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive healthcare services under physician supervision. The PA will conduct patient assessments, perform examinations and procedures, prescribe medications, and develop treatment plans for patients of all ages, ensuring culturally sensitive and timely care within their scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Practice medicine within the scope of practice and under supervision, adhering to federal and state laws.
• Assess patient health status through history-taking and physical examinations, ranging from focused to comprehensive evaluations.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory and imaging studies.
• Perform procedures such as suturing, splinting, casting, wound care, and minor surgical interventions.
• Develop and implement treatment plans, prescribe medications, and coordinate patient care and referrals.
• Educate patients on health conditions, treatment progress, and preventive health measures.
• Document all patient interactions, diagnoses, and treatment plans accurately and promptly.
• Participate in staff meetings, quality assurance, and ongoing education to maintain current clinical knowledge.

Compensation

• Hourly wage between $70.00 and $85.00, based on experience and qualifications.
• Potential sign-on bonus available.
