The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will provide primary and family evidence-based care at CVS MinuteClinic, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, health counseling, and care management. Responsibilities

• Provide primary and family evidence-based care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of health problems.
• Perform routine examinations, handle patient appointments, and ensure positive health outcomes.
• Conduct health screenings, behavioral health, and wellness services, and manage chronic conditions.
• Complete administrative duties such as opening/closing the clinic, inventory management, patient follow-up, insurance verification, and payment collection.
• Discuss healthy lifestyle choices with patients, perform diagnostic tests, and coordinate with healthcare professionals for comprehensive care.
• Encourage patient participation in their healthcare and well-being.
• Order and administer immunizations and injections, including COVID-19, influenza, TB, and Depo, with vaccine counseling.
• Maintain a clean environment and ensure compliance with protocols, including FIT testing and respirator use when required.

Compensation

• $41.85 - $90.13 hourly base pay range, depending on experience, education, and location.
• Eligible for performance bonuses, commissions, or short-term incentives.
• Compensation is paid via W-2 tax status.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Family Nurse Practitioner or equivalent, with current national certification and state licensure.
• Or Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies with current certification and licensure, in applicable states.
• Minimum of two years of relevant medical experience.
• Ability to complete DOT certification within 30 days of employment.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages such as Spanish are preferred depending on the market.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including CPR and AED operation.
• Experience with immunizations and patient education on vaccines and health promotion.
• Experience with electronic health records (Epic preferred) is a plus.
• Ability to perform FIT testing and wear respirator masks as required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently within a team.
