Metro Chicago Surgical Oncology is seeking a Physician Assistant to work independently in a urology practice. The role involves managing patient triage, post-operative care, and performing procedures such as in-office urodynamics and stimulations. The position offers flexible full-time or part-time schedules with optional call duties for additional income.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient triage, including acute and post-operative visits
• Perform in-office urodynamics and stim procedures
• Assist in patient management and follow-up care
• Coordinate with physicians to ensure quality patient care
• Manage a patient load of approximately 15 patients per day
• Provide coverage during scheduled hours, with optional call duties
• Practice independently within the office setting
• Contribute to patient education and treatment planning

Compensation

• Sign-on bonus included
• Flexible compensation model (1099 or W2)

Requirements

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS/MHS/MMSc/MPH or equivalent)
• Current Physician Assistant licensure in Illinois or ability to obtain licensure
• Experience in urology or surgical oncology preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage a diverse patient caseload
• Excellent clinical and communication skills
• Flexibility to work variable schedule days
• Willingness to perform procedures such as urodynamics and stim
• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
• Prior experience with post-op and acute patient management is desirable
• Comfort with optional call duties for additional income
