HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is seeking Certified Anesthesiologist Assistants (CAAs) to join the hospital-employed anesthesia team at HCA Florida Trinity Hospital in Trinity, FL. The role involves providing anesthesia care across a diverse range of surgical cases within a collaborative environment, with flexible scheduling and competitive compensation.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for a variety of surgical procedures including general, cardiac, orthopedic, endoscopic, gynecological, vascular, obstetric, and spine surgeries.
• Collaborate with a team of 8 anesthesiologists, 23 CAAs, and 3 APPs to deliver anesthesia services across 12 sites.
• Participate in a flexible schedule of 40 hours per week, with shifts ranging from 8 to 14 hours, including on-call duties.
• Manage beeper call shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with equitable distribution among team members.
• Provide in-house overnight coverage with physician supervision.
• Earn additional compensation for on-call duties, extra shifts, and after-hours work, including premium rates.
• Contribute to patient safety and quality care in a hospital recognized for excellence and safety.
• Maintain professional standards and participate in ongoing education and training.

Compensation

• Salary plus incentives, including a sign-on bonus of $75,000 and relocation support.
• Additional compensation for beeper call, extra shifts, and after-hours work, with premium pay rates.
• Up to $75,000 start date bonus.
• Productivity bonuses and CME allowance of $2,500.

Shift & Schedule

Requirements

• Certification as a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA).

• Strong collaboration and communication skills within a multidisciplinary team.
