Responsibilities

• Assess patient status through history-taking, physical examinations, and review of medical records.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests; consult with physicians and clinicians as needed for evaluation and diagnosis.
• Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications and injections in accordance with guidelines and laws.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatments.
• Assist in surgical procedures, including closing incisions and managing dressings.
• Document clinical findings, test results, diagnoses, and treatment plans in medical records.
• Rounding on inpatients as needed; participate in peer reviews, staff education, and quality assurance activities.
• Take call 1-2 weeks per month as part of inpatient coverage.
